Upon completion, graduates meet the academic and professional requirements for teacher registration with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA), enabling them to apply for teacher registration in other states and territories across Australia.

Entry Requirements
Successful completion of an Australian bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Also:

  • English Language Proficiency: Our courses require proficiency in English so that you can cope with lectures, tutorials, assignments and examinations. Depending on your educational background and country of origin, you may need to provide evidence of your English proficiency to be able to study with us.   • A copy of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) result (only applicable to those whose first language is not English).
Course Load
  • 1 semester full-time or part-time equivalent
  • Generally, 9 hours per week per subject is required to do well, which includes
    lectures, readings and assignments
